The staff at this office are warm, friendly and professional. This was my first visit as a new patient and my dental situation was a bit complicated. Dr. Dicus took the time to answer my questions and took great care of me. I feel confident in his abilities as a dentist and am very happy I found him. We had recently moved to Reno and finding a great dentist was a high priority for me.

I'm not a fan of the dentist. Never have been. I have had overly sensitive gums ever since I was a kid and there has never been a dentist that can make it comfortable, until I met Dr. Dicus. Let me tell you, he is BAR NONE the best dentist I have EVER been to. Not only does he do an excellent job, but he also doesn't try to scalp you for money. I went to another office that I won't name, and immediately within 20 seconds of seeing my xray they told me I needed a root canal. Guess what? That tooth just got fixed without one! Seriously though, don't go anywhere else.

I absolutely love Dr Dicus and everyone that works here!! I came in after not being to the dentist in years and I was very scared of seeing a dentist and they made me so comfortable and after getting to know everyone so well(because I needed extensive work done) they were always welcoming and friendly. I needed 2 front crowns done and Dr Dicus matched them perfectly with my other teeth and my teeth now look so beautiful and natural. If you are looking for an awesome dentist I highly recommend!!! We've been seeing Dicus for close to a decade if not longer. I have a really hard time with dental work and he makes me feel very comfortable and the trips are always surprisingly pain free and quick. The office staff are always nice and helpful as well. Everyone at the office seems to work well with each other, and give me feeling that I'm getting the best care I can. I hope he continues to practice in the area for a long while.

Dr. Dicus and his staff are extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They go to extra lengths to work with my schedule. I am usually able to schedule an appointment very quickly after a checkup if an issue (e.g. a chipped tooth) is found. They are also very helpful with dental insurance issues. From both of us, all of our experiences with Dicus Family Dentristy are outstanding. We both see Virginia for cleanings and she is excellent. Virginia recommended a product— doTERRA On Guard, an essential oils supplement that you apply atop of your toothpaste before brushing. It has been exceptional in reducing plaque buildup and significantly improving gum health for both of us! We’re of the opinion that it could greatly benefit all of your patients, and it’s totally natural. Also, Dr Dicus expertly referred one of us to an Endodontist, and that Dentist’s work significantly improved her dental health. We are new to the area and needed to establish care with a dentist. A colleague from work recommended Dichus Family Dentistry, and I'm so glad she did! On my first visit, Dr. Dichus was thorough and efficient, but I never felt rushed. He took the time to explain my options, and I appreciated that his treatment plan was conservative and aligned with my wishes. His assistant Christine was very friendly and nice. Her warm demeanor and engaging conversation instantly put me at ease and helped me feel more comfortable. The office staff was also very helpful in obtaining the records from my previous dentist in Utah. My husband also received care from Dr. Dichus for a very painful tooth abscess. He hadn't been to a dentist in years (due to high anxiety related to previous negative experiences). I appreciated that Dr. Dichus was not judgmental about my husband's recent lack of dental care. Instead, he was thorough yet gentle in his exam, and was able to recommended a good oral surgeon to perform my husband's tooth extractions. The office coordinator Sonja was also very understanding of my husband's anxiety, and took the time to schedule his cleaning with a hygienist that would be empathetic and accommodating of his anxiety related to dental procedures. All in all, we have had a very positive experience with Dr. Dichus and his team. I would recommended their office to anyone seeking professional, skilled, and courteous care!

Dr. Dicus has been my dentist since 2012, and only the second dentist I have had in my life since I have moved from Washington state. His dental staff is more than welcoming and very helpful. Dr. Dicus has made my dental experience great by being friendly, approachable, looking at necessity, cost, and affordability when considering any dental work I have needed. He let's you make the choice after providing options to you, and he's great when dealing with anyone not just adults, but kids too. This dental staff does everything they can to make your dental experience a good one by making sure you are comfortable and not in any pain as well when getting your dental work done. Dr Dicus is the best dentist I’ve ever been to, hands down. He is very attentive, and aware of your comfort level at all times. This was my first visit here. The staff was very warm and welcoming. Dr discussed everything he found and made recommendations based on my needs. Everyone I encountered was very friendly.
I am new to the area and was so nervous about going to a new dentist. After doing some research I decided to try Dicus Family Dentistry. Initially I walked in to see if my insurance was accepted there and was greeted by friendly and helpful staff who confirmed it was and made me an appointment right away. At my appointment was also met with very friendly staff, Ashley who took the xrays and Virginia the hygienist who did an excellent job cleaning my teeth. Dr. Dicus was also very personable and thorough, explaining all findings of my exam. There was no pressure for cosmetic or unnecessary work, which I truly appreciated. First visit went so well that I booked my husband an appointment before leaving.
As a transplant from California, I'm glad to have found Dr. Dicus. For exams and major work he is thorough and warm. Same goes for the hygienists on his staff, especially Nancy. I've never had to worry about insurance billing nor co-pays, because Sonja explains all of that in plain-speak. Great people and very good vibes!

I had my teeth cleaned by Virginia today - Wow!! She is a fantastic hygienist and my teeth feel amazing! I only saw the hygienist today, but have seen Dr. Dicus in the past and he is a very nice, down to earth and knowledgeable doctor who made me feel very at ease and comfortable. Dr. Dicus is willing to take the extra time to answer any questions you might have and explain his diagnosis. I can't say enough good things about Dicus Family Dentistry!
Dr. Dicus and his office staff are amazing. They are always helpful, gracious, and always concerned with controlling any pain or discomfort. A few months ago I had a problem and I thought I had an abscessed tooth- I was in a lot of pain. They got me into the office the same day though they had a busy schedule and I had not been in for over a year. I highly recommend Dr. Dicus and have been very pleased with his work.
Dr. Dicus is a wonderful dentist and Michelle is a fabulous hygienist. The entire staff is great and the dental experience there is as good as it gets. Have no fear, you are in good hands with Dicus Family Dentistry

The staff is warm and friendly, they make you feel that they are actually glad your there. I feel when I am with Dr. Dicus, I can trust his evaluation and procedures to correct any problems without "padding" the cost with un-necessary things. Something I couldn't always say about dentists in the past. The hygienist who cleans my teeth--ditto on her also.
Dr. Dicus and his staff are in my opinion are the best dental staff in Reno. Nancy at the front desk in very friendly and helpful when it comes to billing and explaining ahead of time what to expect from billing. The staff is professional, compassionate and friendly. They make you feel at ease and they are kind to you no matter what your situation is. Dr. Dicus is a very good dentist, he takes his time with you, he does the job right the first time, he also explains to you what his plan of care is, he takes time to talk to you about it. You are a important to him and the staff.
Dr. Dicus and the entire staff of Dicus Family Dentistry are outstanding. They handle everything from insurance questions, cleanings, procedure explanations and root canals with the utmost care. The staff are always checking to make sure you are not feeling any discomfort. The office is immaculately clean and everyone is very professional, friendly and inviting. Cleanings are painless, and all dental procedures are handled so the patient is always informed. Dr Dicus takes the time to explain any procedures and answer all questions. The entire staff really care about their patients. I recommend anyone needing any dental care to visit Dicus Family Dentistry and see for yourself.

Dr. Dicus and staff are very caring and gentle. The office environment is peaceful with a soothing (and distracting) aquarium in the waiting room. Patients are immediately welcomed and in the several years I've been a patient, I've rarely waited more than a few minutes to be seen. I recommend this dentist to anyone who is phobic about any aspect of dentistry. You can't go wrong with Dr. Dicus and his staff!

The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the cheerfulness and friendliness of the front staff. I was greeted immediately and my appointment was on time. I was explained throughout the process even though I was there for an annual exam and cleaning.

I’ve been going to Dicus Family Dentistry for a year and have had a pleasant & good experience. They are all very professional, helpful and do not push unnecessary services which is a plus in my book. Not looking to change anytime soon.
My Dad and I have been patients of this practice since the beginning (Over a decade). Dr. Dicus is very attentive and caring. His Dental Hygienists are also very friendly, caring and remember their patients needs. All around a great practice. Our family fully supports them and continues to refer other family members and friends.

Everyone one very professional and friendly. Brooke was especially careful with my cleaning, as I have sensitive gums. Dr. Dicus was able to schedule me quickly for my fillings.

I brought my 94 year old dad to see Dr Dicus and I was very pleased. He did a thorough exam and went over the X-rays with me, showing me all the things he could address. There were plenty! He made sure I knew that nothing is urgent and we can just watch and see. I appreciate his honesty and consideration. I m glad that we found Dr Dicus!

The staff at this office are warm, friendly and professional. This was my first visit as a new patient and my dental situation was a bit complicated. Dr. Dicus took the time to answer my questions and took great care of me. I feel confident in his abilities as a dentist and am very happy I found him. We had recently moved to Reno and finding a great dentist was a high priority for me.

But I have to say my expectations were surpassed and they made my visit enjoyable. Staff was on time, friendly, personable, and professional. I truly felt like I was in the best of hands with this practice and oddly enough I look forward to my next visit. I would 100% refer friends and family here as this is the only dentist out of my last 4 I had a great experience with.
